These new features are actively being researched, and will be incorporated into MapNav in future releases:
3D Map Viewer
This will enable users to view maps and terrains from a 3D perspective.
RFID object tracking
MapNav will be able to track objects with RFID tags in real-time. For example, tracking the delivery of parcels in a postal service.
Unified Messaging
This will provide more communication channels for operators to communicate with agents and customers. These communication channels include SMS, MMS, voice mail, email, fax, IM.
E-Commerce
An ecommerce module will be incorporated to enhance sales force automation. Both online customers and on-the-road agents will enter orders into the same ecommerce system.
Time Tracking
This module will allow agents to charge customers by time. For example, lawyers, accountants, electricians, plumbers and consultants will be able to track the time spent on a job on the customers' site.
iButton Technology
iButton technology will be used to allow automatic logon for agents and operators. Loyal customers can also use iButtons for customer identification and pre-pay services.
Billing Services
A billing module will provide billing services for both postpay and prepay customers. Integration with other accounting packages will also be available.
E-Cash & E-Ticket
This module will allow your customers to pay by e-cash securely, eliminating the need to have real cash during the time of payment. E-Ticket is similar to E-Cash, allowing customers to purchase tickets for an event (eg concert, movies, etc).
